Welcome to my home page.  On this site, you will find out a little bit about me and the odd aggregation of things that interest me. 

Along with links to some of my published work, there is information about the freelance writing services I provide to both organizations and individuals on my biographical page as well as on the pages devoted specifically to my writing services.  On other pages, there are links to sites that will be useful to writers and links to charitable and community service organizations that I support.  You will also find a link to my blog, Taking a Long Look, which will offer a more in-depth or historical look at current events and other topics. 

The Fill  the Pantry Cookbook is a service project with which I am involved as a co-editor.  The hope is that those who hear of it will contribute original or family heirloom recipes and send out a copy of the e-mail that is posted on the Fill the Pantry Cookbook site to encourage others to contribute their own recipes.  When a sufficient number of recipes have been contributed to create the cookbook.  It will be offered free of charge for pantries, soup kitchens, and homeless shelters to sell as a fundraising tool.  Only the pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters will be receiving any income from this project.
